Overview
In the event of a disaster, "information" is essential to quickly assess the damage, make accurate decisions, and take appropriate actions. The central government, local governments, and designated public institutions can use digital technology to share disaster information and implement optimal disaster responses as a whole. In addition, it is important to provide detailed support according to individual circumstances so that residents can fully prepare for disasters from peacetime and take actions to protect their lives in the event of a disaster.
Digital Agency is collaborating with related ministries and agencies, local governments, private companies, etc. to promote the development and utilization of disaster prevention apps to support residents, and to build data-linked infrastructure to support this. For details, please check "Disaster Prevention DX Initiatives in " published in Digital Agency Materials .

Expediting and Facilitating Procurement of Disaster Prevention Apps and Services by Local Governments | In order for local governments to smoothly procure necessary disaster prevention applications and services, "Disaster Prevention DX Service Map" and "Disaster Prevention DX Service Catalog" are available on the website. |
Demonstration Project for Advancement of Disaster Response Using Digital Technology (evacuation shelter verification test, etc.) | We are conducting a demonstration project on the advancement of disaster response using digital technology, using My Number Card and other sources. |
Development of disaster prevention DX measures in cooperation with the Disaster Prevention DX Public-Private Co-Creation Council | In order to strongly promote digital disaster prevention, we are promoting initiatives to realize disaster prevention DX in cooperation with the "Disaster Prevention DX Public-Private Co-Creation Council." The above three initiatives are also being promoted in cooperation with the council. |
