1. System in Digital Agency

July 28, 2026 (Tue) 18:20 Digital Agency disaster response Head Office was established

2. System Operation Status

July 28, 2026 (Tue) 23:00 Except for some GSS (Government Solution Service *) sites in the affected areas, the government information systems under the jurisdiction of Digital Agency were confirmed to be operating normally.

*Common standard business environment for the government (business PCs and network environment)

3. Dispatch of D-CERT

July 29, 2026 (Wed) Based on the needs of the disaster area, we proposed a digital support menu that is considered necessary for disaster response and gave concrete form to the support contents. In order for the disaster response of the disaster area to proceed smoothly, we dispatched two staff members from Digital Agency and three staff members from private sector to the Kumamoto Prefectural Government as the advance team of Digital Assistance Team for Disaster Response, (D-CERT).

4. Provision of Government AI GENAI

July 29, 2026 (Wed) In order to enable disaster-stricken local governments to collect, organize, and share disaster-related information using AI, we temporarily began providing the Government AI GENAI to disaster-stricken local governments, related local governments, and disaster response organizations.

5. My Number Card utilization initiatives, etc.

Regarding disaster victim certificate, which is required to apply for various support measures for disaster victims such as Livelihood Recovery Support Grant for Disaster Victims benefits and reduction or postponement of taxes, insurance premiums, and public utilities charges, we have started to provide online application information using the Mynaportal and local government systems.
