Online Applications for Disaster Victim Certificates
A Disaster Victim Certificate is an official document issued by municipal mayors to certify the extent of damage to residential buildings. It is required to access disaster relief measures, including grants under the Disaster Victim Livelihood Recovery Support Act, and for reductions, exemptions, or deferrals of taxes, health insurance premiums, and public utility charges.
Applicants possessing a My Number Card may apply for a Disaster Victim Certificate online via Mynaportal. Alternatively, applications may be submitted through respective local government systems. These methods reduce the need to visit municipal offices in person or wait in line.
The availability of Mynaportal applications varies by municipality. For application methods other than online, consult the official website or disaster management portal of the relevant local municipality.
