1. Data of indicators
1. 1 Switch between table and time series graph
- Select an item from "1. Select major category" and then select an item from "2. Select major category" to display a list of applicable indicators.
- You can change the display format in "View the indicators in a table" and "View the indicators in a time series graph".

1.2 Checking data details
- Select an index in the table and click "View data sources, creation methods, etc." to check detailed information on the data.
- When you click the source information link, you can jump to the website of the data source.

1.3 Checking national and prefectural figures
- Click "Select prefecture" and select a prefecture.
- You can view the data of the selected prefecture in a list.

2. Looking at one indicator by prefecture
Set up a 2.1 index
- Select an item from "1. Select major category" and then select an item from "2. Select major category" to display a list of applicable indicators.
- Finally, select the indicator whose numerical value you want to check from "3. Select indicator".
- You can view the data for a selected metric in a map or graph format.

2.2 Switching between maps and graphs
- If you select "View indicators on a map", you can view the data in the form of a map of Japan.
- Select "Show metrics in graph" to view the data in graph form.

2.3 Switching between Prefecture order and numeric order
- Select "By prefecture" to view the list in Prefecture code order.
- Select "By numeric value" to view entries in descending numerical order.

2.4 Highlight a specific prefecture
- Select the desired region or prefecture from "Highlight prefecture".
- The graph color of the unselected region / province is light, and the graph color of the selected region / province is dark.

2.5 Specify the period for the percentage change
- You can change the start year for the percent change from Specify Time Period.
*The end year for the percentage change is fixed at the most recent year for which data exists for the metric.

2.6 Viewing time series data
- If you move the mouse over the bar graph, you can see the annual trend of the prefecture.

3. Relationship between the two indicators
Operating Assumptions
- Only fiscal years for which both Y-axis and X-axis data exist are displayed.
- "Since the Y-axis is the primary axis, you can select any indicator for the Y-axis. On the other hand, since the X-axis is designed to display only indicators that have the same year data as the indicator selected on the Y-axis, the number of indicators on the X-axis increases or decreases depending on the indicator selected on the Y-axis. In this dashboard, we recommend that you set the indicator you want to analyze on the Y-axis and view the data by switching the X-axis."
3.1 Setting the Y-Axis Index
- Select "1. Select the indicator for the Y-axis".
- Select an item from "1-1. Select major category" and then select an item from "1-2. Select major category" to display a list of applicable indicators.
- Finally, select the indicator you want to set for the Y axis from "1-3. Select indicator".

3.2 Setting the X-Axis Index
- First select "1. Choose the indicator of the X-axis".
- If you selected Yes to the Choose the X-Axis from the metrics correlated to the Y-Axis metric?
- A. Select an item from "2-1. Select major category".
- B. Narrow down the indicators in "2-2. Narrow down the indicators based on the strength of correlation".
- C. Select the indicator you wish to set for the X-axis from "2-3. Select an indicator".
- D. You can select a correlated indicator to be displayed on the X-axis of the indicator.
- When "No, choose from categories" is selected for "Would you like to choose the X axis from the indicators that are correlated with the Y axis indicator?"
- A. Select an item from "2-1. Select major category".
- B. Select an item from "2-2. Select middle category".
- C. Select the indicator you wish to set for the X-axis from "2-3. Select an indicator".

3.3 Displaying Time Series Trajectories
- If you click on a specific prefecture, you can check the annual trend.
- Multiple prefectures can be selected by clicking while holding down the ctrl key on the keyboard.
- You can select multiple prefectures by dragging them in the graph.

3.4 Looking at changes over time
- If you click the [play] button at the lower left of the scatter chart, you can see the change over time for the year in which data for both the Y-axis and X-axis indicators exist in the animation.

3.5 Highlight a specific prefecture
- Select the desired region or prefecture from "Highlight prefecture".
- The graph color of the unselected region / province is light, and the graph color of the selected region / province is dark.

4. Changes in the four indicators
4.1 Selecting the Chart Area and Indicators
- Select the prefecture from "1. Select prefecture" and "2. Select comparison target".
- Next, specify the range of the number you want to see from "3. Specify the period".
- Finally, select the chart area (A to D) for which you want to change the indicator from "4. Select a chart area to set an indicator", and select an indicator from "5. Select an indicator".
- Configure the other chart areas (A through D) in the same way, and then configure the four charts that you want to display.

4.2 Changing the chart appearance
- If you select "As a real number (absolute value)", you can see the annual change of the real number.
- If you select "Comparison with the base year (relative value)", you can see the annual change of the value with the base year set to 100.

5. Copy and use the data of one indicator
Set up a 5.1 index
- Specify the prefecture, period, and indicator of the data to be used in "1. Select prefecture", "2. Specify period", and "Select 3.1 indicators".

5.2 Copying data
- Click the indicator name in the table to select all values.
- Right-click to display the menu, and click Copy & gt; Copy Selected.
- Data can be used by pasting to Excel, etc.

6. Download multiple metrics at once
Set up a 6.1 index
- Select "Major," "Major," or "Indicator" from "1. Select an indicator" on the left menu.
- Specify "Period" and "Prefecture" from "2. Set conditions".

6.2 Downloading data
- Select Download at the bottom of the menu.
- Select Data and click Download.
