How to Apply for public money receiving account Registration in Income Tax Return

From January 4, 2023, in the procedures for filing income tax returns (tax returns), you can apply for registration of an account for receiving tax returns as a public money receiving account.
Those who have registered public money receiving account can designate public money receiving account as the recipient account of the refund (using public money receiving account). * For income tax returns for 2021, you can register public money receiving account only when you file a refund using My Number Card.
If you are applying to register your refund recipient account as a public money receiving account, please select "Register" in the public money receiving account registration and file your tax return.
- You will not be able to register your public money receiving account if your deposit account information is not filled out correctly.
- Even if you can receive a refund through a tax return, you may not be able to register as a public money receiving account. For financial institutions that can be registered as a public money receiving account, please check the financial institutions that can be registered as a public money receiving account, .

- If the deposit account stated in "Place of receipt of tax to be refunded" is registered as a public money receiving account, enter a circle in "Consent to public money receiving account registration".
- If the taxpayer's My Number (Individual Number) is not correctly entered on the final return form, or if the taxpayer is unable to make a identity verification due to insufficient identity verification documents, the taxpayer will not be able to register a public fund account.
- When applying for registration of a public money receiving account in the written declaration procedure, it may take longer to register than in the electronic declaration procedure.
