About the Council
Based on the roadmap for the promotion of medical digital transformation, Digital Agency and Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (hereinafter referred to as the "country") are considering the renovation of the current on-pre-type system and the transition to a cloud-based system that utilizes modern technologies by integrating electronic medical records, receipt computers, and departmental systems.
Specifically, by the end of FY 2025 (FY 2025), the government will compile the standard specifications of the system, and from FY 2026 (FY 2026), in order for business operators to smoothly start development based on these standard specifications, we will invite business operators who are enthusiastic about these efforts and hold a council for the renewal of hospital information systems, etc. (hereinafter referred to as the "council").
In this fiscal year, we will compile standard specifications with the following small and medium-sized hospitals in mind, and from fiscal 2026 (fiscal 2026), we plan to continue to consider whether we can develop them for large hospitals while promoting their trial introduction at multiple medical institutions (assuming medical institutions with 100 to 200 beds such as the National Hospital Organization), as well as developing them by operators.

- Hospital function: Like a general hospital in a local city, it has a wide range of functions from general acute care to convalescent rehabilitation and chronic care
Additional Offering
At the Council, "Subcommittee A," which discusses the main functions of electronic medical records and medical accounting, and "Subcommittee B," which discusses collaboration with systems in major divisions, were set up on a priority basis, and discussions have started to define requirements (members of the Council for the renewal of Hospital Information Systems, etc. were decided in ).
This time, we will conduct additional recruitment for the establishment of "Subcommittee (C)", which aims to link new service groups that contribute to the operational efficiency of medical institutions by utilizing advanced technologies such as generative AI.
The services targeted by Subcommittee C are as follows.
- Support for document creation using AI and services that contribute to communication with patients, such as reservations and medical interviews
- *In addition, since it is for the purpose of conducting studies that contribute to the standard specifications, those that are limited to specific clinical departments and use cases are not covered.
