- Published:
Toward the renovation of hospital information systems, etc., the members of the Council decided in early June, held a kick-off on Friday, July 4, and started the activities for this fiscal year.
About the Council
Based on the roadmap for the promotion of medical digital transformation, Digital Agency and Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (hereinafter, the national government) are considering a plan to renovate the current on-pre-type system and move to a cloud-based system that utilizes modern technology by integrating electronic medical records, reception computers, and departmental systems.
Specifically, the government will compile the standard specifications of the system by the end of FY 2025 (2025), and from FY 2026 (2026), the government will invite businesses that are enthusiastic about these efforts and hold a council (hereinafter referred to as the "Council") for the renovation of hospital information, etc., so that businesses can smoothly start development based on these standard specifications.
In the current fiscal year, we will compile standard specifications for small and medium-sized hospitals of the following sizes, and from fiscal 2026 (2026), we will continue to examine whether they can be deployed for large hospitals, while developing them by companies and introducing and promoting them on a trial basis at multiple medical institutions (assuming medical institutions with 100 to 200 beds, such as the National Hospital Organization).
- Bed size: about 100 to 200 beds
