About the Council
Based on the schedule for the promotion of medical digital transformation, Digital Agency and Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare (hereinafter referred to as the "Government") are considering a policy of renovating the current on-pre-type system and integrating the electronic medical record, reception computer, and department systems into a cloud-type system utilizing modern technology.
Specifically, the national government will compile system standard specifications by the end of FY 2025 (FY 2025), and from FY 2026 (FY 2026), a council for the renovation of hospital information systems, etc. (hereinafter referred to as the "Council") will be held to invite business operators willing to take such measures so that business operators can smoothly start development based on these standard specifications.
In this fiscal year, we will compile standard specifications for small - and medium-sized hospitals of the following sizes, and from fiscal 2026 (fiscal 2026), we will continue to study whether they can be developed for large hospitals, while developing and promoting them on a trial basis at multiple medical institutions (assuming medical institutions with 100 to 200 beds, such as the National Hospital Organization), as well as at business operators.
