In addition, for confirmation of whether you have registered a smartphone electronic certification, please see Mynaportal: for procedures when a lost smartphone is found.
Expiration of Smartphone electronic certification
Under the law, when you stop using a smartphone for which you have registered a smartphone electronic certification due to model change, trade-in, sale, disposal, or malfunction, you are required to cancel the electronic certification yourself.
By performing the revocation procedure from the smartphone on which the smartphone electronic certification is registered, the electronic certification will be revoked and the associated information in the smartphone will also be deleted.
If the electronic certification revocation procedure is not properly performed, the smartphone electronic certification will remain in the smartphone. (It will not be deleted by initializing the smartphone.)
Even if the electronic certification remains in the smartphone, it will not be abused unless the smartphone is properly managed or the password is known. However, in order to eliminate any possible risks due to the information remaining in the smartphone, when you stop using the smartphone for which the electronic certification has been registered, it is necessary to make sure that you complete the procedures for the expiration of the reservation.
How to Expire a Smartphone electronic certification
Please expire your registered smartphone electronic certification from the menu of the Mynaportal application. For instructions, see Mynaportal: Suspend the use of smartphone electronic certification (Expire) for procedures when a lost smartphone is found.
If you do not know the password required for the revocation procedure
The password (6 to 16 alphanumeric characters) set at the time of registration of the smartphone electronic certification is required for the revocation procedure. If you have forgotten your password, please initialize and reset it using the My Number Card and then follow the revocation procedure.
For how to initialize, see Mynaportal: to initialize the password, and for how to reset, see Mynaportal: for procedures when a lost smartphone is found.
If you are unable to initialize or reset the password, for example, if you do not have a My Number Card at hand, uninstall the electronic certification application while the smartphone on which the Mynaportal for smartphones is registered is connected to the network. The electronic certification will expire and related information in the smartphone will also be deleted.
If the terminal is initialized before the revocation procedure is performed
If you initialize a smartphone for which a smartphone electronic certification has been registered, please reinstall the Mynaportal application and open the Mynaportal application menu while the smartphone is connected to the network. The smartphone electronic certification will be deleted (*) and cannot be used.
