Minister for Digital Transformation presented a letter of appreciation to BPR Advisor and other organizations
- Published:
On this occasion, the City of Digital Agency presented a letter of appreciation to the City of Municipal DX services counter and local governments (hereinafter referred to as "local governments") that have greatly contributed to the reform of counter services through the "BPR Advisor" initiative promoted by Minister for Digital Transformation.
Outline
Digital Agency is creating opportunities for local governments to run their own counter BPR by entrusting local government employees, etc., who have a rich track record in "Municipal DX services counter," to BPR Advisor and sending them to local governments that wish to do so to share their know-how, etc. The "BPR Advisor Dispatch Project" has supported the counter BPR of more than 200 local governments since the project started in fiscal 2023 until now (as of August 2026). This achievement was possible only with the cooperation of BPR Advisor.
Recently, Minister for Digital Transformation or Director-General presented a letter of appreciation to BPR Advisor, which has greatly contributed to supporting the counter service reform in local governments. Minister for Digital Transformation also presented a letter of appreciation to other local governments that have also greatly contributed to supporting the counter service reform.

BPR Advisor Dispatch Project
In "Municipal DX services counter," it is important to work on "business process reengineering (BPR)" and "system utilization" as a set. In particular, business process reengineering (BPR) is essential as a preliminary preparation for system utilization. In this project, we ask local government employees who are familiar with Municipal DX services counter to become BPR Advisor, and provide know-how and support to other local governments who want to promote Municipal DX services counter in the future.
