Overview of Government Solution Services (GSS)

The GSS is a shared government initiative designed to provide a standardized, reliable and secure operational environment, including workstations, network infrastructure, and security protocols for employees working at ministries and agencies across government.

By leveraging dark fiber to establish nationwide inter-agency network and implementing the concept of Zero Trust Architecture, GSS delivers a high-bandwidth, high-quality, cost-effective, and highly secure operational environment.

Since its launch in 2021, migration to GSS has proceeded steadily across the government. As of February 2026, the service is utilized by approximately 53,000 employees across 18 organizations, with plans to expand to approximately 280,000 users in the future.

By facilitating flexible work arrangements independent of location, whether at the office, home, or during business trips, and enhancing cross-ministerial operational efficiency, GSS contributes to work-style reform and productivity enhancement for the government employees.
