Co-creation PF Camp in Tokai-Utilization of My Number Card - was held

Digital Agency operates the " Digital Reform Digital Transformation Co-Creation Platform " (hereinafter referred to as "Co-Creation PF"), a communication platform in which any employees of local governments and government agencies can participate. One of these initiatives is the "Co-Creation PF Camp," a study group where local government employees can learn from each other, held in various parts of Japan, with the aim of promoting the sharing of local government examples and knowledge and further enriching function as a learning community.
Overview
In January 2026, we held the "Co-Creation PF Camp in Tokai-Utilization of My Number Card" for employees of local governments. It was held in Nagoya-shi, Aichi, and 10 local governments participated. This time, as a utilization of My Number Card version, we had an opportunity to deepen their understanding of My Number Card's function and to image how local governments can actually utilize My Number Card through case studies and workshops.

Program of the day
1. Explanation and utilization workshop of co-creation PF (lecture, group work format)
The Digital Agency Open Government Group explained how to use co-created PF, and held a workshop in a group work format where participants could experience the use of co-created PF by actually posting on the co-created PF channel. In addition, the co-created PF ambassadors introduced how to actually use it.
2. Explanation of function in My Number Card and introduction of examples using My Number Card (lecture format)
Digital Agency minor and OSS team explained My Number Card and its function.
3. My Number Card utilization review workshop (hands-on, group-work format)
Under the theme of "Projects to Solve Issues of Local Governments Using My Number Card," each group made a decision on the expected local government, identified issues, examined projects that match the issues of the local government, and examined what should be examined when conducting the project. After that, each group made a presentation and had a Q & A session.
4. Comments and Summary of My Number Card Utilization Review Workshop (in the form of a lecture)
A representative from the Open Source Solutions Team, Maina Digital Agency, gave a review of the workshop and introduced the horizontal development of My Number Card.

Summary of this study meeting
At the workshop, there were many questions and a lively exchange of opinions. Participants also commented that it was meaningful to have discussions from multiple perspectives in an offline workshop, and that they were able to understand the characteristics of My Number Card and the initiatives of progressive local governments.
