Background of the Collaboration

The movie “The Ogre’s Bride”, based on a highly popular Japanese-style romance fantasy series with over 6.5 million copies published centers around the themes of a “special bond” and an “irreplaceable presence.”

As for the My Number Card, total issuance exceeded 100 million in December 2025 and its role as an identity verification is expanding beyond government and municipal services to include both in-person and online private sector services.

This collaboration was realized due to the strong parallel between the unique, "one-and-only" bond of the Ogre and the Bride, and the My Number Card’s role in daily life, where one card is issued to each person to securely verify their identity. This connection inspired the tagline: "A special bond, a certain proof. That is the My Number Card."
Digital Agency will promote this initiative as an opportunity for more people to learn the “Everyday uses for the My Number Card”, along with the appeal of the movie.

Everyday Uses for the My Number Card

As the identity verification tool for the modern era, the My Number Card provides a safe and definitive way to prove your identity both in-person and online. Further details are also available in the Scenes of My Number Card use.

Online Administrative Services (Moving Procedures)

When moving, you can easily submit a move-out notification online through the Mynaportal at any time, even outside of office hours without visiting your current municipal counter. Identity Verification for Private Sector Services

The use of the My Number Card for in-person and online identity verification is expanding across various private sector services. For example, it provides a secure and definitive way to verify your identity when opening bank or securities accounts, submitting mobile phone applications, or using services such as secondhand goods trading, online auctions, and matching apps.
