Co-creation PF Camp in Shikoku-How can local governments' AI cases be used elsewhere? Ed. - was held.

Digital Agency operates the " Digital Reform Digital Transformation Co-Creation Platform " (hereinafter referred to as "Co-Creation PF"), a communication platform in which any employees of local governments and government agencies can participate.
One of these efforts is the "Co-Creation PF Camp," a study group where local government employees can learn from each other, held in various parts of Japan, with the aim of promoting the sharing of local government examples and knowledge and further enhancing its functions as a learning community.

Overview

In November 2025, we held a "Co-Creation PF Camp in Shikoku-How can local governments' AI cases be used in other regions?" session for employees of local governments. It was held in Takamatsu, Kagawa, and 14 local governments participated. This time, through case studies and workshops on generative AI, it was an opportunity for local governments to imagine how they can actually use generative AI.

Program of the day

1. Explanation of co-creation PF and utilization workshop (lecture, group work format)

   • The Digital Agency Open Government Group explained how to use co-created PF, and held a workshop in a group work format where participants could experience the use of co-created PF by actually posting on the co-created PF channel. In addition, the co-created PF ambassadors introduced how to actually use it.

2. Examples of AI by Local Governments (Lecture Format)

   • A presentation was given by a representative from Zentsuji City, Kagawa, on an example of "Status Confirmation Work Using AI and Satellite Photos," and a presentation was given by a representative from Gero City, Gifu, on "Strategies and Examples for Spreading generative AI Within the Agency."

3. Workshop (in the form of hands-on and group work) to examine how local government AI cases can be used by other organizations

   • The Digital Agency AI Team gave a presentation on the implementation of one of the examples of local governments in the Government AI. After that, with the theme of "How can AI examples of local governments be used in other places?", each group identified issues, grouped the issues, and examined their solutions. After that, each group gave a presentation and a Q & A session was held.

4. Review and Summary of Workshop (Lecture Format)

   • The Digital Agency AI Team gave a review of the workshop and introduced the horizontal development of the Government AI.

Summary of this study meeting

At the workshop, there were many questions and a lively exchange of opinions, and participants commented, "I felt that it was important to know about the AI first," and "I was able to listen to the voices of other local governments with a high level of perspective."
