Co-Creation PF Camp in Kinki, China - Government Cloud Edition - was held

Digital Agency operates the "Digital Revolution Digital Transformation Co-Creation Platform" (hereinafter referred to as "Co-Creation PF"), a communication platform in which any employees of local governments and government agencies can participate. One of these initiatives is the "Co-Creation PF Camp," a study group where local government employees can learn from each other, held in various parts of Japan, with the aim of promoting the sharing of local government examples and knowledge and further enhancing its function as a learning community.

Overview

In July 2025, we held the "Co-Creation PF Camp in Chugoku-Kinki - Government Cloud Edition" for employees of local governments over two days. It was held in Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture and Itami City, Hyogo Prefecture, and a total of 46 local governments participated. This time, as the government cloud edition, we were able to imagine a practical approach to cost optimization in the government cloud through a companion type cost optimization workshop for packaged products. We also held a workshop to make more use of co-creation PF.

The Digital Agency Open Government Group explained how to utilize co-created PF, and held a workshop in a group format where participants could experience the use of co-created PF by actually posting on the co-created PF channel. Co-created PF Ambassadors introduced how to actually use it.
  2. Key points for using the Government Cloud (lecture format)
To provide information for the first part of the workshop, the Government Cloud Team gave an overview of the Government Cloud and explained the key points for cost optimization of cloud usage fees.
  3. Hands-On, Collaborative Cost Optimization Workshop for Packaged Products
The participants became staff members of a fictitious city and searched for places where cloud usage fees could be optimized and examined measures before and after the release. First, they operated a calculator and did individual work to identify issues that could be cost-reduced. Next, they grouped the identified issues and examined measures for cost optimization for each grouped issue. Finally, they decided the policy for the examined measures for each group.
  4. Workshop presentations and lectures (in the form of presentations)
Each group presented the cost optimization policies they had considered in the workshop, followed by an example of a cost optimization policy from the Government Cloud Team.
