"Education DX Roadmap" was formulated

1. Overview
Digital Agency, in cooperation with related ministries and agencies, revised the Educational Data Utilization Roadmap published in January 2022 (Reference: Educational Data Utilization Roadmap Formulated) in light of changes in the situation and formulated a new "Educational Digital Transformation Roadmap."
In revising the roadmap, we took over the mission of the previous version, "A society where anyone can learn anytime, anywhere, with anyone, and in their own way," and based on the vision of "All resources for learners," we organized initiatives from the following five perspectives.
- Reducing the burden on teachers by digitalisation
- Development of learning environments for diverse learning
- Enhancing student self-understanding and teacher understanding through data
- Development of an environment where data from learning can be utilized throughout one's life
- Use of educational data for research purposes that also contribute to educational policy and practice
In addition, during the period from May 15 to May 28, 2025, we invited comments from the general public. (Reference: We will solicit opinions on the Education DX Roadmap (draft))
Subsequently, based on the opinions received and the exchange of opinions with experts, the content was arranged, and the roadmap was compiled together with the relevant ministries and agencies.
In the future, we will steadily promote measures in cooperation with various stakeholders and review them flexibly based on changes in the situation.
