In fiscal 2026, the first public call of the Study and Verification Project for Optimizing the Operation and Utilization of Local Government Information Systems after the Transition to the Government Cloud [For business operators]
- Published:
We launched the first public call of the Study and Verification Project related to the standardization of local government information systems and the optimized operation and utilization after the transition to the Government Cloud for business operators.
Overview
1. Covered Vendors
Vendors selected as part of the "FY 2026 Project to Promote a Shared Usage Method and Verify Coordination between Multi-vendor Systems" (hereinafter referred to as the "FY 2025 Project") who wish to continue participating in this project in FY 2025, or vendors who wish to start using the Government Cloud between May and September 2026 and are allowed to shut down and delete data from used environments and systems by March 31, 2027, when the verification period ends. Vendors selected as part of the FY 2026 Project who wish to continue participating in this project in FY 2025 are allowed to continue using the built environment and data.
*In this project, joint applications by multiple vendors are allowed in order to efficiently verify the linkage between systems.
*It is assumed that dummy information that is not classified as sensitive information will be used for this project. For this reason, internet virtual private network connections to the government cloud are permitted.
2. Target Business Systems
Public information systems including standard compliance system
*The data used in this project shall be dummy data.
3. Overview of Examination and Verification
- Consider and verify an environment in which multiple organizations use the Government Cloud (a shared usage method).
- Consider and verify data linkage between systems assuming a multi-vendor government cloud usage environment.
- As part of verification contributing to cloud optimization, we will examine and verify the efficiency of infrastructure construction by examining the standard configuration when migrating to the Government Cloud.
- As a countermeasure against structural factors related to the increase in operation expenses, we will conduct research on system optimization and operation automation.
4. Items to be considered and verified
The selected vendor shall select one or more of the following items (a) through (d) and examine and verify them.
- A. Issues related to data linkage, etc. (examples below)
- Discussion items and setting items for data linkage with other companies' systems, examination and verification of file linkage and API linkage
- Examination and verification of linkage between standard compliance system built on on-premise environments or government clouds and specific migration support systems or proprietary policy systems
- Examination and verification of linkage between standard compliance system built on the Government Cloud and various services (front office, internal information, general-purpose cloud type, etc.)
- Examination and Verification of Linkage between standard compliance system and Front Office Services Built on the Government Cloud
- Examination and Verification of Linkage between standard compliance system Built on Government Cloud and Internal Information Services
- Examination and Verification of Linkage between standard compliance system Built on the Government Cloud and General Cloud-based Services
- Examination of configuration using authentication and authorization infrastructure and examination and verification of linkage
- Sorting out issues in the standard specifications for data requirements and linkage requirements and research and study for the next release
