Fiscal 2026 Digital Agency Information Systems Procurement Reform Study Group
Outline
Based on the "Priority Plan for Realizing a Digital Society" (decided by the Cabinet on June 7, 2022), MIC held a meeting of the Digital Agency Information Systems Procurements Reform Study Panel in fiscal 2022. The panel compiled a report on the direction of measures related to information systems procurements reforms.
In FY 2026, the GOJ will hold the generative AI Information Systems Procurement-Related Reform Study Group, in order to evaluate the efforts made for information systems procurement-related reform and to consider how procurements should be conducted in the future and necessary measures, taking into account environmental changes surrounding governmental information systems procurements, such as the popularization and sophistication of Digital Agency.
