In light of the fundamental structural changes and the expanding potential for development that the rapid progress of digitalization is bringing to the world, the Digital Ad Hoc Administrative Research Association was held with the aim of quickly advancing structural reforms of national and local institutions and systems and creating a society in which individuals and businesses can easily create new added values by comprehensively examining and implementing cross-cutting issues related to digital reform, regulatory reform, and administrative reform. (Abolished on October 6, 2023)

The Mitsubishi Research Institute, Inc. estimates the economic effects of review of analog regulations based on a survey commissioned by Digital Agency in light of the Digital Principles and releases an interim report.
Technology Verification Project
With regard to review of analog regulations based on digital principles, among the provisions that require technical verification from the perspective of security and effectiveness, the Digital Provisional Administrative Investigation Committee is investigating those that are considered to be capable of technical verification across ministries and agencies in cooperation with the ministries and agencies in charge of regulations.
