Establishment of a Logic Model for Improving Productivity in Nursing Care Settings
The logic model in the nursing care field utilizes technologies such as ICT and home care robot, and aims to improve productivity in the nursing care field, such as "1. Retention of nursing care personnel" and "2. Quality improvement of nursing care services", by allocating the time generated by work improvement and efficiency improvement to direct nursing care work.
- Retention of Nursing Care Personnel
By reducing the workload of employees, reducing overtime hours, taking paid holidays, and utilizing the generated time for training and other human resource development, we aim to retain nursing care personnel, reduce the turnover rate, and secure nursing care personnel. - Improving the Quality of Nursing Care Services
We aim to improve the quality of nursing care services by allocating the time generated by improving and streamlining operations to direct nursing care operations and increasing the amount of time users and employees spend in contact.
More information is also available in the following documents:
1. Reasons for not being able to reach the desired state
In order to reduce the workload of nursing care staff, retain nursing care personnel, and improve the quality of nursing care services, there are various issues to be addressed. According to the results of the revised examination, there are issues such as the high cost of nursing care technology, concerns about the ability to use nursing care technology, and no need for nursing care technology.
2. Consideration of Resolution Measures
In order to solve problems, we believe that it is important to show the methods, procedures, and effects of efforts, to develop human resources who are familiar with digital technology, which is the core of on-site efforts, and to create a contact point where people can consult about anything at any time, and we have set up measures to solve problems.
3. Implementation of initiatives and dissemination of activities
It is important to utilize problem-solving methods and implement initiatives at each worksite. To be more specific, we expect that there will be a shift in tasks, such as the deployment of digital human resources, the establishment of committees, and the clarification of duties and division of roles, as well as the introduction of ICT and home care robot and the use of care plan data-linked systems for in-home services. The penetration of these initiatives will lead to a decrease in overtime hours and total working hours due to increased work efficiency.

4. Achievement of Ideal Status
By utilizing the time generated by increased operational efficiency, we can expect to see tangible effects such as an increase in the amount of time spent caring for users, an increase in the use of paid leave, and the retention of nursing care personnel. As a result, we can realize the effects of improving the productivity of nursing care sites, such as a decrease in the turnover rate, increased flexibility in staffing, and the securing of care quality.
