Courtesy Call on Minister Furukawa from Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of ASEAN

On October 21, 2026, Minister for Digital Transformation Furukawa received a courtesy call from Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, Secretary-General of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). During the meeting, Minister Furukawa introduced the Digital Agency's initiatives to expand Government AI internationally, particularly in ASEAN, and discussed opportunities for digital cooperation, including data policy for both countries.
