Overview
In a report published in May 2024 by the "Study Group on the Future Vision and Implementation Scenarios of National and Local Networks" in , the following three visions were presented for the future around 2030.
- To provide national and local administrative services to the people in a flexible, secure and stable manner
- Improvement of network efficiency through sharing of national and local network infrastructure
- National and local government officials will be able to work efficiently with one PC per person while ensuring security, and flexible working arrangements such as teleworking will be made possible.
Digital Agency will consider the realization of a new national and regional network around 2030. In fiscal 2025 (fiscal 2025), we will verify two aspects: the use of virtual technology and shared infrastructure, and the introduction of the concept of Zero Trust Architecture.
