Launch of Large-Scale Pilot Project for “Government AI GENAI” Targeting 180,000 Employees Across All Ministries and Agencies

As part of its Government AI initiatives, the Digital Agency has developed and currently operates an environment of “Generative AI GENAI” that is accessible to all employees (*Note: The name “GENAI” is derived from “Generative AI” and pronounced “GENNAI”.)
In May 2026, the Digital Agency launched a large-scale pilot for its “Government AI GENAI” initiative, which will be accessible to approximately 100,000 government employees starting May 29. The pilot will then be gradually expanded across participating ministries and agencies, with the goal of eventually providing access to around 180,000 government employees nationwide.
