About cybersecurity Month
In recent years, there have been numerous reports of cybersecurity problems affecting people's lives, such as the suspension of business activities due to ransomware attacks, information leaks due to suspicious e-mails, and personal data leaks.
In order for everyone to enjoy the benefits of IT with peace of mind, it is essential for each individual to raise awareness of security and make basic measures a habit.
Against this backdrop, the Japanese government has designated the period from February 1 to March 18 as "cybersecurity Month." During this month, various entities, including ministries and agencies, local governments, prefectural police, private companies, and related organizations, work together to intensively implement public awareness activities related to cybersecurity.
