On June 25, 2026, Minister for Digital Transformation Matsumoto received a courtesy call from Mr. David Goeckeler, Chair of the U.S.-Japan Business Council (USJBC). During the meeting, they reaffirmed the importance of Japan-U.S. cooperation in the digital field in both the public and private sectors and exchanged views on ways to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
