On March 5, 2026, Tixplus Inc. was certified by the competent minister as a business that meets certain standards required for using Japan Agency for Local Authority Information Systems based on the provisions of Article 17, Paragraph 1, Item 6 of the Act on Japanese Public Key Infrastructure's Certification Business Concerning Electronic Signatures, etc. (Act No. 153 of 2002).
About Japanese Public Key Infrastructure
Japanese Public Key Infrastructure is a public service that enables identity verification and online application on the Internet by using electronic certificate stored in My Number Card to ensure the prevention of impersonation, alteration, and transmission denial.
Approval of private sector by the competent minister
Private sector can also be used by companies that have been certified by the competent minister as satisfying certain standards for system security, etc. To date, 27 companies have been certified by the competent minister.

"LIQUID eKYC" is a service that performs online identity verification, which is necessary for signing contracts, registering accounts, and opening accounts. It provides a method in which drivers' licenses, My Number Card, and other identity verification documents are photographed or IC chips are read and matched with a selfie photo, or a method using a Public Personal Authentication (JPKI / Smartphone JPKI).
