Outline of the review meeting
In fiscal 2024, MIC conducted a survey of foreign governments' initiatives to use open source and open source software (OSS) as well as agile development. Based on the survey results and the opinions of experts with specialized knowledge and experience in each field, MIC held the Expert Panel on Agile Development and the Expert Panel on Open Sourcing and Use of Open Source Software in order to discuss the criteria for determining effective projects that use agile development, as well as concrete measures for open sourcing in the procurement of information systems by government agencies.
